Where Needed Most

Of each gift given toward a specific project, a full one-hundred percent of it is applied toward that project. Zero percent of those gifts will be used toward operational costs.

We are very aware that one of the hindrances to charitable giving is a skepticism whether, in fact, our gift actually gets to its recipient. In Starfyshʼs case, the answer is an absolute “Yes! One hundred percent.”

Two factors allow Starfysh to make this claim:

• First, we are a volunteer-run organization. Our board members draw no salaries and many of the services we employ (i.e. website design and management, legal services, etc.) have been provided for Starfysh either free-of-charge or at markedly-reduced costs.
• Secondly, some folks indicate to us that, so intriguing is this charity model to them, they give toward the operational costs so that Starfysh will be able to continue to operate with these claims. In a sense, Starfysh is their starfish!
